In our hostel there are six rooms for 2-4 people. Every room is fully equipped (tv, etc.). Some of the rooms include bathroom (shower and toilet).
The large dining room gives access to the veranda and can accommodate 40 persons. Perfect for special events or family dinners by the fireplace. You can enjoy typical Finnish and Central European dishes. And of course there is a sauna!
We also let a summer cottage on the bank of Lake Saimaa (4 p.) and another cottage at the edge of the forest (6 p.) both fully equipped (sauna, etc.)
Hostel Mansikka offers you a wide range of programmes for example guided tours, organised nature-, cycle- and canoe-trips, snowmobile safaris, cross country skiing, cruises, fishing, etc. Guests can use the internet freely and for the kids we have PlayStation games.
At your request Hostel Mansikka can help organize events like conferences, weddings and birthday parties.
During the picking season we offer you fresh ‘mansikka’. That’s the Finnish word for strawberries!
